Day 1 – Depart

Depart Dublin for Istanbul and continue to Amman. Upon arrival, a member of our staff will meet you at Queen Alia International Airport. Transfer to hotel in Amman. Overnight in your hotel.

Day 2 – Amman

. Breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy a morning city tour of Amman which includes a visit to the citadel Roman Theatre and the Archaeological Museum. Free afternoon for relaxation or sightseeing at your leisure. Dinner and overnight in your hotel.

Day 3 – Jerash

Travel to the Old Roman City of Jerash. Visit the Maximus Cardo. Continue on to visit the castle of Ajlun before continuing on to Umm Qais where you can see the ancient ruins. Return to Amman for dinner and overnight in your hotel.

Day 4 – Al-Kharrana, Amra & Al Azraq

Breakfast at your hotel. Travel east for a once in a lifetime visit to the majestic Desert Castles of Al-Kharrana, Amra & Al Azraq. Return to Amman for dinner and overnight in your hotel.

Day 5 – Kerak Castle

Breakfast at your hotel & check-out. Transfer south towards the historical city of Petra. En route visit the Kerak Castle, one of the largest crusader castles in the Levant and the Shobak Castle. You will also visit the Christian Town of Madaba, which is known as ‘The City of Mosaics’. Proceed to Petra for dinner and overnight in your hotel.

Day 6 – Petra

Breakfast at your hotel. Today explore Red Rose city of Petra, the capital city of the Nabataeans and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Situated on the slope of Mount Hor, this magnificent site remained unknown to the western world until 1812 when it was discovered by a Swiss explorer. Return to Petra for dinner and overnight in your hotel.

Day 7 – Wadi Rum

Breakfast at your hotel & check-out. This morning travel to the Wadi Rum desert, a valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock, a journey to Wadi Rum is a journey to another world. Also, take the opportunity to enjoy an exciting Jeep tour of Wadi Rum. Also known as ‘The Valley of the Moon’ this magnificent desert landscape has been inhabited by several groups of humans dating back to prehistoric times, leaving behind them fascinating rock paintings, temples & graffiti. It was also the setting for the famous Lawrence of Arabia movie. Continue on towards the Dead Sea for dinner and overnight in your hotel.

Day 8 – Bethany

After breakfast transfer to the sacred site of Bethany, where it is said Jesus Christ was baptised by John. From here, continue on to Mount Nebo where you can see, as Moses did, the vast panorama that encompasses the Jordan River Valley, the Dead Sea, Jericho and Jerusalem. Today, you will also visit the Church of St George in Madaba which houses the oldest map in the world. Return to the Dead Sea for dinner and overnight in your hotel.

Day 9 – Dead Sea

Breakfast at your hotel. Today is free to spend at the beautiful Dead Sea at your leisure. Dinner and overnight in your hotel.

Day 10 – Dead Sea

Breakfast at your hotel. Today is free to spend at the beautiful Dead Sea at your leisure. Dinner and overnight in your hotel.

Day 11 – Dead Sea

Breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy your last free morning in the Dead Sea before a late check-out. Transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for your return flight to Dublin via Istanbul.
